Darren Wershler

Writer and academic Darren Wershler of Concordia University in Montreal focuses his work on the relationship between avant-garde art and writing on one hand and communication studies and media history on the other. He's been a university professor in both English and Communication Studies departments, and takes an interdisciplinary approach to his teaching, research, and creative work. He has also worked professionally as a writer, editor, designer, and publisher of print and new media. He has published several books, most recently, Guy Maddin's My Winnipeg (U of Toronto Press), and Update, with Bill Kennedy (Snare Books).
